Churchill Animal Protection Society (CAPS)

Helping animals find homes. Supporting pet owners. Strengthening our community.

Churchill Animal Protection Society (CAPS) is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter serving the Fallon, Nevada, community. Founded in 1986, CAPS works to protect animals, connect pets with loving homes, and provide resources that help people care for their pets.

Through adoption services, community assistance programs, volunteer opportunities, and public outreach, we work toward a community where animals are safe, cared for, and valued.

How CAPS Serves Our Community

Pet Adoption

We connect homeless animals with families looking for a companion. Adoption gives animals an opportunity for a safe, loving home and helps CAPS continue serving animals in need.

Pet Food Pantry

Our Pet Food Pantry helps eligible Churchill County households access pet food so they can continue caring for their dogs and cats during times of need.

Fostering and Volunteering

Community members can make a meaningful difference by volunteering their time, helping at events, supporting shelter projects, or providing foster care when opportunities are available.
